The winemaker
The characteristics of the Clos Floridène terroir
The estate now extends over 41 hectares, The grape varieties are multiple: Semillon, Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet and Muscadelle. The vines are planted on clay-limestone soil for the white vineyard and on clay-limestone and Graves soil for the red vineyard.
The Clos Floridène wines
Le Clos Floridène offers several wines: A dry white wine and a red wine, both from the Graves appellation. A rosé is also produced, the rosé de Floridène. The Clos' second wines, a white and a red, are called Drapeaux de Floridène.
