The winemaker

In 50 years, the Clos des Menuts, had only one hectare. Today it covers 25 hectares ready the ramparts of the medieval city, mainly west of the town. Located in the heart of Saint Emilion, the Clos des Menuts has superb medieval cellars monoliths at constant temperature of 12 °. You will encounter a "religiosity" conducive to the aging of these great wines in oak barrels. In 1978, it expanded facilities renovated outside the village. Le Clos des Menuts, flagship River brethren, is the experimental laboratory for all properties. In 1997, he benefited precursor manual harvest in small crates that will later be applied to all holdings. Reasoned culture was widespread in 2001 to the entire Clos Menuts and begins to be on the other properties.
