The winemaker

Clos de la Molénie is certified organic (Ecocert), biodynamic (Demeter) and Biocohérence, and produces two types of wine: Clos de la Molénie (AOC Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur) and Pas de la Colline (Vin de France). All our wines are made with indigenous yeasts, are unfiltered and contain very little sulfur. Vinification methods are varied (pumping over, punching down), and containers are diverse: stainless steel tanks, sandstone, terracotta, acacia and oak barrels. Our wide range of wines reflects the care we take to cultivate and vinify our grapes, according to the wine profile they can produce at their peak. A ripe grape, a plot with ripe stalks and a clay-limestone terroir all play a part in inspiring us to create our wines.
