The castle door from the seventeenth century the name of its owner, Elie Suau, counselor to the parliament of Bordeaux and Dolphin captain of the regiment. In 1719, after his death without issue, the field Suau is taken Tarneau Charles (1669-1745), lieutenant general of the armies of Louis XV. His daughter, Angelique married in 1722, Pierre de Lur-Saluces owner of Chateau de Malle. During the Revolution, the property was taken over by Garros, superintendent of Château d'Yquem, under the direction of Josephine de Lur-Saluces. Located at the southern exit of Barsac, the vineyard of 7 ha near the castles Broustet, and Coutet Nairac; vines 50 years of age, 80% Sémillon, 10% Muscadelle, 10% Sauvignon, all facing east on gravel soils, red clay and limestone base. The type of culture is reasoned, manual harvesting.
