Terroir and vineyards of Château Saint-Barbe

Since 1650, Château Saint-Barbe has been a mecca for grape-growing. On more than 32 hectares, farmers grow 80% Merlot. The remaining 20% is divided between Cabernet franc, Cabernet sauvignon and Petit verdot. Certified HVE3, the vineyard benefits from the surrounding biodiversity. All around the vines, woods and meadows teem with life. Butterflies, deer, ferrets... Château Saint-Barbe is an Eden whose richness impacts the grapes.

The wines of Château Saint-Barbe

Château Saint-Barbe currently produces two AOC Bordeaux and Bordeaux supérieur wines: Château Saint-Barbe Merlot and Château Saint-Barbe. In addition to these two exceptional wines, the estate also produces the cuvée Symbiose. A veritable oenological UFO, this wine is distinguished by its fruity, jam-like notes.
