The winemaker
The exceptional vineyards of Château Pontac Lynch
The subsoil is composed of clay and limestone, while the soil is made up of a layer of gravel. The vines are 45% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Since 2013, the château has also been awarded the Haute Valeur Environnementale (High Environmental Value) certification.

Château Pontac-Phénix AOC Haut-Médoc is a dry red wine. It is fragrant and spicy, both on the nose and palate. Château Pontac-Lynch AOC Margaux was classified Cru Bourgeois in 1932. Fine and elegant, it has a fruity, spicy aroma. Quintessence de Pontac-Lynch AOC Margaux is a powerful red wine. It is characterized by its aromatic richness.
