The winemaker

Château Pleyssac Tayac is located in the commune of Tayac, a few kilometers east of Saint Emillion, in the Côtes de Francs appellation. Listed in Féret and its wines since the end of the 19th century, this property has been in the current owner's family since 1925. Aware of the quality of their terroir, eager to perpetuate the family tradition and committed to reviving the château, Dominique Gallot, his wife and daughters have been vinifying grapes from carefully selected parcels since 2016. Sustainable agriculture, manual harvesting, parcel-by-parcel vinification and 12 months' barrel ageing reveal wines of balance, elegance and precision.
