Terroir characteristics


The Château Peyrat estate represents around 17 hectares of land, and is preserved in the heart of a rich environment, making its location exceptional. Its proximity to the Garonne river provides a micro-climate that is highly appreciated for its wine production. The terroir's characteristic soil is composed of limestone and rock.

The estate's wines


Château Peyrat's production has been balanced to offer both white and red wine grapes (around 7 to 8 hectares for red as well as white). For reds, Merlot is the estate's flagship wine. However, other wines are also represented, such as Cabernet Sauvignon.
