The winemaker
Characteristics of the terroir and Château Liversan
The Liversan terroir is mainly characterized by fairly homogeneous soils and a temperate, oceanic climate. On the first 30 centimeters in particular, the surface is composed of sandy-loam gravel. Underneath, it's quite subtle, concealing gravelly clays, limestone fragments and quartz fractions. The property is divided into two estates covering a total of 51 hectares: Château Fonpiqueyre and Cru Bourgeois Liversan.
The wines of Château Liversain
For years, the vineyard has been producing great vintages that are rigorously crafted. However, there are some that stand out for their color and their ability to match different dishes. These include "Liversan Cuvée Sophie", "Château Liversan" and "Les Charmes de Liversan".
