Château Lespault-Martillac

The winemaker
Domaine de Chevalier, owned by the Bernard family, has been running the château since the 2009 vintage. Olivier Bernard has made it his mission to give this terroir its letters of nobility, through ploughing, plot-by-plot selections and barrel ageing on lees, to name but a few. The vineyard covers 8 hectares and produces 28,000 bottles of Château Lespault-Martillac red wine a year. With its Pessac-Léognan appellation, this wine is made from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
