The winemaker
The world's most famous clay-limestone soil gives this estate a South-East exposure, bringing rare sunshine to the fruit. Merlot predominates, as always on the right bank, accompanied by Cabernet Franc and, more discreetly, Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate produces a Grand Cru and a second Grand Cru wine, Château Vignot.
