The winemaker

The Château Lapelletrie estate

Nestled in stone quarries, the terroir is typical of the Bordeaux region, which enables the production of Saint-Émilion Grands Crus: the soil is limestone and clay (red clay), which favors drainage and ripening of the grape, a 100% Merlot variety. On more than 12 hectares, integrated viticulture is accompanied by the installation of fruit trees, hedges and beehives to protect the diversity of the terroir.

The wines of Château Lapelletrie

Château Lapelletrie offers AOC Saint-Émilion grands crus. Thanks to the estate's micro-climate, the wine is atypical and complex. Racy and powerful, "Château Lapelletrie" seduces with an almost crimson color and a finely wooded nose. The "Canopée de Lapelletrie" cuvée surprises with its almost rolling balance.
