The winemaker

Château La Peyruche has been owned by the Claverie family and their descendants since 1883. With a passion for wine and vineyards that has been passed on for over a century, Château La Peyruche produces wines in the Bordeaux, Côtes de Bordeaux and Cadillac appellations. The Château takes its name from the limestone rocks on which its foundations rest: "La Peyre Ruche", which means rough stone in Gascon. The Château has a 20 hectare vineyard, which is managed using sustainable agriculture. The wines offered reflect their terroirs and the respect for the environment. "Our wines are expressive and authentic, produced and matured with respect for the land, the people and the environment.
