The winemaker
Château la Couronne is an 11-hectare wine estate planted with 96% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc. The vines grow on clay-limestone soils and are, on average, around thirty years old. Several cuvées are produced on the estate, but the main appellation is "Montagne Saint Émilion". The vines are grown in the traditional way, with the utmost respect for the environment and tradition.
