The winemaker

The vineyard is spread over the slopes facing south / southwest facing the Garonne to make the most of the sunshine and good drainage of the land. The different plots enjoy the variety of soils of these hills to give the wine its personality. Cadillac Town is an old fortified town in the heart of this region of the Entre-Deux-Mers populated from the tenth century by monks who planted the vineyard by clearing hillsides land. This is an area rich in history and heritage, including the famous Abbey of La Sauve Majeure built in the 12th century. The quality potential of Château Haut-Mouleyre is very high thanks to the various exhibition elements and average age of the vineyard, the grape variety, terroir and diversity plots. The winery to make wine and raise the wine is up to the qualitative ambitions for this property.
