Château Haut-Bailly is located on one of the highest ridges on the left bank of the Garonne. The 30-hectare vineyard is planted exclusively with red grape varieties. The foundations of Haut-Bailly are composed of a sandy soil mixed with slippery tertiary gravel. The subsoil is one of the Château's most distinctive features: faluns or petrified fossil stone. It can also be seen on the cellar walls. Thanks to this soil, the vines derive minerals and micronutrients that ensure rich aromas. Find out more
