The Château de Rochemorin vineyard
Château de Rochemorin owns 61.5 hectares, including 40 hectares of reds (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon) and 21.5 hectares of whites (Sauvignon). The soil is essentially deep gravel.
The wines of Château de Rochemorin
The estate produces around 230,000 bottles a year. With 30 to 40% aging in new oak barrels, the wines are seductive and well-balanced: 1/4 are released in white under AOP Graves, the rest in red under AOP Pessac-Léognan.
