The winemaker
Terroir and vineyards of Château de Rayne Vigneau
Blending neo-Renaissance, neo-Gothic and Louis XVI styles, Château de Rayne Vigneau is surrounded by 84 hectares. Its rustic terroir blends sandy gravel, precious stones, limestone and clay subsoils. An excellent combination for vines. Add sunshine and you'll understand why Château de Rayne Vigneau wines are so fine.
It's important to point out that the grape varieties planted are Semillon (74%), Sauvignon Blanc (24%) and Muscadelle (2%). These grape varieties produce white wines that sublimate fish, white meats and aperitifs.
