Poor soil for any other culture, only the vine could find here the ideal conditions for producing quality grapes, deep draw up water and nutrients it needs. The typical limestone plateau of Barsac wines brings to this town located on which Castle Myrat, freshness and special minerality. This is why our wines can choose Sauternes as well as the name of Barsac.
