Bellevue from the sixteenth century belonged to the family Certan Demay, Bellevue, owner of Castle Certan in Pomerol. Before the revolution, Jean Demay, former special lieutenant and adviser secretary Roy and the Crown of France becomes the owner. During the Revolution, Bellevue is seized as national property and bought by a son of the family. In 1898, it was acquired by Mr. Combrouze, Château Grand Pontet owner, deputy mayor of St Emilion, which makes it a modern vineyards after the phylloxera crisis. In 1942, Georges Périé, trader at Charenton (Paris) bought the estate. In 1971, Charles Chatenoud, Savoy, winegrower in the canton of Geneva, bought Bellevue. Today is his son André who manages the property.
