The winemaker
In 1796 he became the property of the family of Seze that still has today. Vineyard restoration is conducted since 1984 by Brigitte and Stéphane Savigneux. The vineyard of 22 hectares of sandy grave and serious on clay and limestone is composed of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. After manual harvesting, traditional vinification and aging for one year in oak barrels, wines combine finesse and character. Chateau Haut Lartigue, from the youngest vines, is the second wine of Château Eyran. The annual production is 80 000 bottles.
