The winemaker
A respected terroir
The vineyard le extends over a former wood in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. It covers 16.5 hectares, including 2 hectares for whites and 14.5 hectares for reds. The reds are planted with 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is traditionally aged in barrels for 12 months.
AOC wines from Château d'Alix
The first wine offers a superb deep ruby red, developing aromas of Violet and red fruits before supple tannins develop toasty notes. This is a wine for medium aging, up to 10 years.
