The winemaker
Château Calon estate features
55 hectares make up Château Calon-Ségur, which backs onto the village of Saint-Estèphe. A further 40 hectares are planted with vines. The estate's grape varieties include 2% Petit Verdot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 35% Merlot and 56% Cabernet Sauvignon. By 2032, Cabernet Sauvignon is expected to account for 70% of the total. Harvesting is done by hand. The estate undertakes only procedures designed to respect the grapes.

The Château Calon estate produces refined, high-quality wine. The production is adorned with pure aromas and a silky texture. Discover also the Marquis de Calon à la carte. This gourmet wine is composed mainly of 75% Merlot. The estate is proud to present its best vintages, from Château Calon-Ségur red 2010 to Château Calon-Ségur red 2020.
