The winemaker
The Château Angludet estate covers a total surface area of 81 hectares, of which 32 hectares are planted with vines. Today, the vines, which have an average age of 25 years and are planted at a density of 6,666 vines per hectare, have found their balance in a blend comprising 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot. Over the millennia, Bordeaux winemakers have found that certain sites consistently produce wines of exceptional quality, with their own unique characteristics. This is due to the influence of terroir, a subtle combination of soil, subsoil, exposure, the influence of the sea, altitude and the whole natural environment.
