Petit renouil - vignobles ponty 2017les vignobles ponty is located in the libournais à bordeaux. This family-run estate has been in existence since 1905, when victor ponty, the great-grandfather from corrèze, settled in fronsac to produce and sell wine. Four generations followed, and today the vineyard is managed by michel ponty, who was born on the property and grew up there;té and began working there at the age of 21, alongside his father and brother ainé.petit renouil is the second wine from grand renouil, first produced in 1954. Chateau grand renouil disappeared for a while during the revolution, but reappeared in 1938 thanks to the Ponty family. The petit renouil vineyard is located on the same hillside as the grand vin vineyard, but comes from younger merlot vines: around 40 years old, compared with 80 years old for the grand renouil chateau.cépages : 80% merlot, 20% cabernet franc
