In a few words ...
The first cotes de bordeaux are located on the slopes and foot of the hillsides on the right bank of the Garonne. They extend over a strip some sixty kilometers long and 5 kilometers wide. Since 2009, the reds have been produced under the name cadillac-cotes de bordeaux, the aoc premières cotes de bordeaux being reserved for the sweet whites.
The 1975 vintage was an excellent one, with a small crop, albeit one that took a little time to make. The red wines were full-bodied, with all the qualities of great wines that didn't always live up to their promise.
