Bordeaux appellation wines are traditionally blended and distributed according to the winemaker's decision and the terroir. Bordeaux appellation wines are light-bodied, fruity and easy to drink on the fruit. They must meet strict specifications in order to obtain the appellation.
The 1999 vintage was shaping up well overall, with quality and quantity. But once again, a violent storm on September 5 wiped out 10% of St Emilion. The situation in the other appellations was no better, but the winemakers were able to save the grapes that had reached maturity thanks to the September sunshine. The winemaker's hard work will be recognized in the wine's structure.

Appearance
Libourne wines are generally deep ruby with violet highlights.
Aroma
Red and black fruits are very present, with hints of wood and vanilla due to more or less long barrel ageing.
