In a few words ...

Founded at the turn of the century, the family business has been handed down from father to son for more than three generations, and enjoys a privileged location in the heart of the Beaujolais vineyards, and one of its jewels, the Morgon cru. Returning to the domaine in January 2005, Mathieu Lapierre continues the tradition of natural wines initiated by his peers and contributes to the estate's development. The estate's vines, cultivated organically since 1981, have an average age of 60 and extend over 13 hectares in the commune of villé-morgon, including 2 on the côte du py. The cultivation techniques used preserve the biological life of the soil, while improving the rooting of the vines and their ability to absorb trace elements, which are factors in the typicity and flavour of the crus. In an era dominated by the standardization of tastes, the estate's approach is in line with an ideal of authenticity. To produce wines that are natural, authentic, alive and pure grapes! While combining technical innovations and more ancient methods, the team succeeds in making the gamay noir à jus blanc express the typicality of the villé-morgon terroir, unveiling aromas of

A shot of fruit, fruit, fruit, fruit! So easy to drink. So greedy. So natural yet so straightforward. Just perfect.

This cuvée is close to perfection, a taste of the crème de la crème, the aristocracy of natural Beaujolais wines. Marcel was a great winemaker, and his children have taken over from him. A unique taste, due in part to this traditional carbonic maceration, an experience to be lived at least once, and more if affinity!

Always a great classic. A Beaujolais from the beautiful Morgon appellation. A gastronomic wine that goes down well on its own.

This wine made me love Beaujolais, and I've come a long way since I wasn't really a fan of the wines from this region :)

An excellent organic Morgon, Marcel Lapierre is a sure bet. Keep for 2 to 3 years, if possible, to reach maturity.
