The winemaker

An estate as close to nature as possible

The cultivated terroirs are characterized by predominantly sandy or silty-sandy soils derived from primary rocks (granites) or ancient alluvium. The vines planted are between 40 and 80 years old, and their density is 11,000 vines/ha.

The shallow depth of the soil means that the vines have to be worked regularly and shallowly, and the vegetation has to be tended to in season. Biodynamic viticulture is also practiced throughout the vineyard, to ensure that the wine produced expresses the nature and terroir that gave birth to it.

After meticulous manual harvesting, the grapes are vinified in concrete tanks without yeasting or chaptalization.

Exquisite Beaujolais

Let's take two emblematic cuvées from the domaine: the Greta Carbo and l'Avalanche de Printemps.

The Greta Carbo stands out for its bright, carmine-red color and fruity, floral nose. On the palate, the wine is silky and offers a long, fruity finish.

L'Avalanche de Printemps offers a brilliant red color, with a nose of black fruits and wild raspberry, spices and notes of blood orange. The palate is silky and juicy, marked by fine tannins.
