The winemaker

La Famille K is the story of our family, Marianne, Benoît and not forgetting the inenarable Jeanne, formerly stressed white-collar workers from Paris living at a thousand miles an hour, who decided to leave this crazy urban life to cultivate the Beaujolais terroir with passion and dedication. A quest for meaning and a return to our roots that began with our wedding in Saint Amour, continued in Argentina and New Zealand during a long world tour, and ended in Morancé, in the heart of the Pierres Dorées region, which we fell in love with. It is therefore with great enthusiasm that we took over a 12 hectare estate in 2018 to realise our vision: to help restore the image of Beaujolais wines without pretension, and to prove that good, well-made wine can be accessible to all.

We give in to fashion insofar as we like wines without pesticides and without dogmatism, so no synthetic products but high performance technical means (pneumatic press) and also a little bit of sulphites, just what is needed to protect all the flavour of our wines.
