This cuvée comes from a parcel of vines located in the commune of Pruzilly, one of the most renowned terroirs in the Juliénas appellation. This parcel of Domaine Les Ravinets has belonged to the Ferrraud family since 1890. This Juliénas offers a wine in the image of its terroir, both fleshy and elegant.

A deep ruby-red color.
Aroma
The nose reveals a floral, fruity bouquet. Strawberry and redcurrant aromas mingle with violet, peony and a hint of cinnamon.

Pleasantly surprised by this Julienas. I'm not a big fan of Gamay, so Beaujolais wines are complicated for me to get to grips with. However, I really enjoyed this one. Admittedly, it's light, but fruity nonetheless, with fine tannins. The nose was also appreciably round.
