Made from Gamay grapes, this wine reflects all the richness and elegance of the granitic terroirs of the Juliénas appellation. On the nose, it seduces with intense aromas of black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry) and floral notes of peony and violet. On the palate, it offers fine structure, velvety tannins and a lingering finish reminiscent of the great Beaujolais crus. Details: appellation: juliénas aoc grape variety: 100% gamay terroir: granitic and schist soils give the wine its minerality and aromatic complexity. Vinification: traditional semi-carbonic maceration, ideal for preserving the gamay's fruity aromas and freshness. Wine and food pairing : Juliénas is the perfect accompaniment to grilled meats, roast pork or stewed dishes such as pot-au-feu. It also goes well with mature cheeses or a plate of charcuterie. Serving temperature: 15-16°c Aging potential: 5 to 7 years, allowing the full complexity of its aromas to develop.
