Born into a family of winegrowers, Jean-Marc Burgaud decided to strike out on his own in 1989. It was in Morgon, right in the middle of the Bordeaux region, that the winemaker established his domaine. 33 years later, the estate has become a benchmark for the Morgon Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC). The winemaker

Domaine Jean-Marc Burgaud owns a total of 19 hectares. Of these, he dedicates 13 ha to Morgon, 5 ha to Beaujolais villages and 1 ha to Régnié. Located between Villefranche-sur-Saône and Mâcon, the vineyard is characterized by vines that are at least 55 years old. To ensure the quality of its red wines, only one grape variety is used: Gamay noir à jus blanc. For white wines, the artisans use Chardonnay.
