The winemaker
The "signature Raousset" is built around three axes. Its foundation in 1850 was quickly followed by great rewards, proving the strength of the field from the start: a gold medal at the World Expo 1869, Napoleon III decorated the work of the then winemaker Count Rousset. In addition, the common Chriroubles where the vineyard is based, has a granite soil fully expressing Chardonnay and Gamay Noir. Finally, the area is located on the names of Chiroubles, Fleurie and Morgon and extends over 65 hectares to provide its wine nuances of each plot.
