In a few words ...

Passionate winemakers Jean-jacques, rémi bonnet and vincent pineau run domaine bonnet-huteau, a family property for over 150 years, in the heart of the sèvre et maine appellation. They strive to develop the full range of flavors of high-expression Muscadet and the minerality of each terroir (gneiss, micaschist, amphibolite and granite). The viticulture, respectful of the soil and nature, is now carried out biodynamically (certified biodyvin). Respect for mankind, the environment and nature are very important points in the estate's approach and day-to-day work. In the vineyards, the winemakers' aim is to encourage the life of the soil and the vines' natural defenses, thanks to organic and biodynamic methods that allow the wines to express their minerality and finesse. In the cellar, this low-intervention approach naturally accompanies the wine through the winemaking process to create "living wines" that reflect the wonderful terroirs of the Muscadet region. domaine bonnet huteau's cuvée ordolia is produced by macerating pinot gris grapes in ovoid terracotta vats for a little over a year.
