In a few words ...
domaine recerca, which means "research" in Catalan, was created by jess albero and laurent pujol in the catalan corbières. Together with her husband chris, who passed away too soon, Jess was at the origin of the zulu range of wines. Based in Vingrau, where part of their 4.5-hectare vineyard is located, they also have a plot in Paziols. Working as naturally as possible, they banish all inputs. The wines are pure, straightforward, fresh and well-balanced. This blend of Grenache Noir and Macabeu is a real pleasure for the senses. It could be a sort of Roussillon côte rôtie, with this astonishing combination of red and white grapes. It has it all: fruit, freshness and fluidity. A big gun with big drinkability!
