The winemaker
The house has over 10 hectares of vineyards, located in a privileged area of all, including the remarkable hillsides floor and sunshine. Among others, the localities' Goldesch "and" Rotenberg "are particularly suited respectively Riesling and Gewurztraminer. The "Altenberg of Bergheim" meanwhile is classified Grand Cru and Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer rich and robust. Beautiful seasons enable harvesting of the most prestigious "Late Harvest" and "Sélection de Grains Nobles". While striving to maintain the traditional winemaking methods, the family Hugg is equipped with modern equipment.
