The winemaker

The presence of the Zeyssolff family in Alsace dates back to the fifteenth century. In 1574, two Zeyssolff brothers, one a lawyer and the other judge, receive a family crest for services to the city of Strasbourg. In 1778, Jean-Daniel Zeyssolff, winemaker at Gertwiller the heart of a vineyard, founded the Maison Zeyssolff. Since then, the tradition of vine and wine has passed from father to son over ten generations. Consistency as remarkable as the quality of Alsace wines offered. A sunny area distributed over the earth of an interesting geological variety makes it possible to produce well-typed wines. Distinctions obtained in various competitions regularly demonstrate their value. All the Alsace varietals are proposed by the House Zeyssolff and appreciated as regionally and beyond the frontières.En 1960, the House Zeyssolff is a pioneer homes for bottling the wines of Alsace. In 1997, Yvan Zeyssolff took over the family farm. Since then, the House IPM works to preserve the environment. It limits the use of chemicals by using biological methods. In 2005, opening of a shop "At Sin Vigneron" in the family home. It includes all Zeyssolff wines, but also a wide choice of delicacies and produce ... what self achieve its gourmet baskets, specialty of the house. In 2009, opening a gite 4 stars "The Cottage". To meet demanding customers, we have created this small boutique loft combining comfort and modernity. In 2010, opening a tea room space within the store. All in an old vaulted cellar, completely renovated, which combines soft music, peace and pleasure.
