The Alsatian terroir of Cave du Vieil Armand
The Alsatian terroir is renowned for its dry climate benefiting from plenty of sunshine. The soils are composed of clay, marl and sandstone, favoring drainage and wine maturation. Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Muscat, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Noir.
Vintages from Cave du Vieil Armand
Alsace wines, recognizable by the long shape of the bottles, are all represented through the various AOCs at Cave du Vieil Armand. Riesling, for example, is fine, fresh and floral, with a balanced mouthfeel, while Spiegel has a sharper attack.
