The winemaker

But did you know that the Preiss lineage has been established in Riquewihr since 1480? Enter our cellar and discover our superb wines today. Riquewihr, the pearl of Alsace's vineyards, is surely one of the most beautiful villages in France (no, I'm not chauvinistic, though?), and people flock here from all over the world to discover its splendors. It has retained the character of a small medieval village, and is ranked by Alexis Lichine as "France's leading wine-producing village on a par with St-Émilion". Our village enjoys a climate and location that are particularly conducive to the production of top-quality wines. In Riquewihr, we have an ancient vineyard that produces vintage after vintage of great wines.
