The winemaker

The Colmar City Wine Domaine operates more than 28 hectares in property through his eponymous vineyard of 14 hectares, the Clos Saint-Jacques, located near the winery, and the prestigious vineyards of the Hospices Civils de Colmar Louis Pasteur. The field extends on the best slopes of the surrounding villages which are operated in Grands Crus among the most famous: - Pfersigberg, - Hengst, - Florimont ... With this diversity of soils, the area of ​​Colmar offers a range of wines uncommon for wealthy marriage between food and wine. Our know -how is regularly rewarded with numerous medals (see our rewards) on Competition and Guides in France and abroad. It is important to us to vinify and raise our grapes in the traditional wines of outstanding quality in respect of the vine and originality of the terroir. To achieve this, we follow a demanding specifications to ensure the wine work reasoned, specific parcel selection, optimal harvest. Optimum monitoring of the production process, from harvest to bottling is done. Thanks to a temperature control, the inerting and other new techniques, we continuously improve our quality of winemaking. Our wines are the result of a passionate team who work every day in the development of the best wines to delight the taste buds.
