The winemaker

"It's true that our name doesn't sound Alsatian", of Champenoise descent. It was Jean Pernet who met his wife after the First World War; she was his wartime godmother and came from a family of winegrowers in Alsace, in Dambach-la-ville. This union gave birth to Fernand, who took over the business and, with the help of his son Ariel, expanded the vineyard. They began bottling their first wine in 1973. A family story with values and know-how handed down from generation to generation, a love of wine with a passion for the vine. In 2015, Nicolas, Ariel's son, settled on the estate and injected new impetus by combining knowledge, heritage and rigor. He now vinifies and produces new cuvées such as l'Audacieux and l'Ambitieux. In 2020, the domaine begins its conversion to organic farming.
