The winemaker

Planted on a beautiful range of granite and limestone terroirs, this vineyard offers diversified and original expressions of Alsace's great grape varieties. Independent winegrowers from father to son, we have been specialists and pioneers of Rouge de Saint-Hippolyte since 1961, when the Domaine was founded. Our terroir of choice is the famous Clos des Aubépines in the Langenberg area, with 10 hectares of terraced monopole vines. Our great-grandfather, Eugène Muller, was one of the first to open a direct sales cellar in Alsace. In keeping with this vocation, the Domaine opens its doors to the public all year round: bed & breakfast, cellar tours, tastings, advice... The Domaine offers a wide range of wines and vintages to suit all tastes and to complement specialities from Alsace and around the world. The Muller-Koeberlé family.
