Since 1995, André's son Marc (52) and Louis' son Christophe (50), both graduates in oenology, have given the company a new impetus. The two cousins have been managing their vineyards with respect for the environment for several years. No synthetic products are used in the vineyard, the natural cycle of the vine and its terroir are respected, the grapes are harvested and sorted entirely by hand, there is minimal intervention in the cellar, and no oenological products are used (apart from a minimum of sulfur), in order to respect the quality of the grapes. Since 1999, this philosophy has naturally led them to commit their estate to organic and biodynamic viticulture, which best respects the environment, the health of consumers and, above all, the personality and identity of wines from the great appellations d'origine controlée. This approach is certified by Ecocert, an inspection body approved by the French Ministry of Agriculture.
Christophe and Marc Mittnacht's wines are regularly cited in reference guides and magazines - the Guide Hachette des Vins de France ; La revue des Vins de France ; Cuisine et Vins de France ; Gault et Millau, Wine magazine, Johnson , Decanter...
