The winemaker
Born in 1937, Henri Haeffelin, now deceased, was always in him the love of the vine, work and desire to grow. Assisted by his wife Christiane who always participates in the domain, it expanded its area, leaving the As fields and livestock, to devote himself fully to the vine. It is through their commitment, courage and know-how that our farm now extends over 16 hectares. Today Guy, body and soul winegrower, inherited this passion full and complete for the work of the vine. If tradition and love of the land remained rooted in his mind, they shall not prevent the expression of modernity in the work and winemaking. Our farm is located in Wettolsheim first town in the Haut-Rhin of its area farmed vineyards, 5 km south-west of Colmar. This village of 1,600 inhabitants lies at the foot of the vineyards, dominated by the famous ruins: the Hohlandsbourg Castle, the Hagueneck and 3 castles of Eguisheim.
