The winemaker
A family business for six generations, Domaine Pierre Péters, located in the heart of the Côte des Blancs in the village of Mesnil-sur-Oger, has been producing Grand Cru Blancs de Blancs Champagnes since 1919. Owner, Harvester and Handler, our Champagnes are made exclusively from grapes grown in our own vineyards.
Today, our house cultivates just over 19 hectares of Chardonnay, mainly located in the communes of Mesnil sur Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant. Our family has developed, from generation to generation, its own selection of plants (sélection massale), which it has maintained and aged to work a vineyard with an average age of over 30 years.
Each year, with respect for the environment, we adapt our growing methods to obtain healthy grapes, so that our Champagnes express the richness, finesse and elegance of the great terroirs of the Côte des Blancs.
