In the beginning
On March 5, 1926, 36 winegrowers from Ingersheim and neighboring villages were faced with economic turmoil: fiercely attached to their terroirs and to a know-how handed down from generation to generation, they decided to resort to the principle of solidarity: they all joined forces to build the first foundations of the Cave d'Ingersheim, better known today as the Cave Jean Geiler.
Driven by their passion and determination, these winegrowers have contributed to the development and continuity of their winery. Working fervently in the vineyards, they always keep in mind the precious heritage left by their elders.
