A very special case: sugar ripeness is pushed to the limit. The weather conditions in October are fundamental. Cool, misty mornings and sunny afternoons are necessary for prolonged ripening, with the establishment of Botrytis cinerea, or "noble rot". In withered berries, the aromatic evolution is very particular, towards candied and dried fruit notes. These climatic conditions do not occur every y... ear. That's why we've only produced Vins de Vendange Tardive 6 times in the last twenty years: 1990, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2005, 2007. Read more

A wine of great concentration. The liqueur-like character does not exclude great freshness. The bouquet is marked by jammy, candied and dried fruit aromas.
