In a few words ...

"ermitage ex voto: the vintage of great years ermitage ex-voto is a vintage produced only in great years. Its name, "ex-voto", literally means "according to the vow that has been made", and reflects Maison Guigal's determination to produce an exceptional cuvée when nature permits, in perfect harmony with it. This cuvée is made from 90% Marsanne and 10% Roussanne grapes. These grow in the "murets" area, which is composed of fluvio-glacial alluvium and pebbles, and on the loess plateau, where the soil is composed of sandy-clay loam. Nearly two hectares of vines between 50 and 90 years old are used to produce this cuvée. Harvesting is done by hand, and vinification is carried out in small new oak barrels for 30 months to ensure the exceptional organoleptic qualities of this unique wine. guigal ermitage ex voto blanc 2013: an opulent, generous white This latest cuvée, guigal ermitage ex voto blanc 2013, received an exceptional 97/100 rating from robert parker. It has a limpid straw-yellow color with brilliant highlights. The nose gives off powerful aromas of small white flowers and honey, while the palate reveals much richer flavors of terroir. The harmony between the delicate nose and the sustained palate highlights the fleshy fruit of the 2013 cuvée. Notes and references robert parker: 97/100 important: wineandco guarantees that this wine (as with almost all our references), has been purchased directly from the producer. It has been optimally preserved and has not been transported in any way other than between the producer's winery, in this case Maison E.Guigal in Ampuis, and our own."
