The pago de valdemonjas vineyard was purchased in 1998 and extended in 2009 with the acquisition of el nogal dela valera, a century-old vineyard in the horra region. Winemaker luca d’attoma and the moyana family are committed to organic farming and biodynamics. le pago de valdemonjas is a small 7.1-hectare lot, situated between 700 and 750 metres above sea level, in the middle of the golden mile, the natural neighbor of the vega sicilia vineyard. It is totally isolated by the slopes of the second duero terrace.el primer beso is made from tempranillo fermented in stainless steel vats without extraction. The wine has been aged for 6 months in ovo cement vats.cépage: 100% tempranillo
